That's probably right.  A company needs cars for certain employees and
doesn't want to have to deal with what to do with the car after a certain
number of years.  Its probably easier to predict expenses and cash flow with
lease payments.

The CPA that my company uses told us that if the company would lease cars
and provide them for us to use then there would be certain tax advantages
that you don't get if the company buys the cars or if the company pays a car
allowance to employees.
