[Shotimes] Sho Shop y-pipe w/cats

I will be installing the y-pipe tomorrow, I noticed that the cats didn't show
an arrow indicating exhaust flow. Sho Shop instructions say to make sure arrow
points back for the exhaust flow.
As both ends of the cats are the same, does it matter ?
The cats have a heat shield only on one side, I was going to install it with
the shield UP to prevent heat from penetrating UP as per the SHO FAQ
write-up.
Would appreciate your comments.
