Haven't seen that. I replaced one that was frayed at the TB. Others have had
them stretch (my used replacement needed a bunch of washers at the pedal end
to get WOT), and others, like on the '91s, have a heavy feel that gets
worse. These just wear out/fray/stretch after all those years.

Is it possible that this could be a throttle plate problem similar to the
problem that the gen3 can have?
