Subject: Sept 5th SHOcago meeting
Just a reminder that the next meeting of the SHOcago club is
Sept 5th (this weekend) on Sunday at my house...Don Mallinson
Address:
902 S. Main St.
Washington, IL 61571
Directions:
Find Route 24 that goes across the state east to West a few
miles north of Bloomington, IL and goes through Peoria, IL.
Washington is on that road. YOu want to take the first
Washington exit on the east side of the Washington area
(Main Street) and go south. You will be on North Main
street heading south.
At the city square (first stop sign, or stop of any kind) go
straight through the square, and you are now on South Main
Street going south.
Go 9 blocks. YOu will go down a gentle hill for several
blocks then back up for a couple blocks. After you crest
the hill, you will notice a farm field on your left (you are
still in town).
Look for the dark Green plastic mailbox on your right with
902 on it. Turn in the blacktop drive, semi-circular drive.
Go past the little white house and park across from the
green metal building in the grass.
bring your chair, food etc and keep following the blacktop
drive a few more feet to the yellow house at the end of the
drive.
We will provide burgers and brats, and if everyone else
brings one item (dish, bag of stuff etc) then we should have
a nice meal.
We will have plastic dishes, forks/knives etc, and cups.
If you want a big thick steak, bring it and we can cook it
up or you can cook it yourself. We WON"T have big thick
steaks for everyone! :)
Event happens from about 11am to 3pm or so, we will plan on
eating by 1pm.
We will have some chairs and other seating, but if you bring
a folding chair, you will be assured of seating!
Don and Jan Mallinson
P.S. Those that like live horses rather than the Conan
O'Brian type (under my hood is called my corral because that
is where I keep my 220 HORSES) we have five nice ones in our
barn that you can view, along with our construction of a new
stall area.
V6 cutaway motor will be on display.
Bring your best SHO storiees and lies.
Carter Fuji.....(can't ever spell it) will be here too!
