[Shotimes] Power steering pressure switch (does it have a purpose?)

I was swapping radiators today and noticed the PSPS was disconnected....

Didnt notice anything.....except my car now dies randomly while 
driving.....starts right back up....but then dies RANDOMLY....

Wierd...
