You need to check some of the import parts suppliers, but do a Google on
"yellow coil springs" and a Summit link will come up.
The springs are probably fie (assuming you like stiffer linear-rate springs)
and a good set of struts would probably cure it.

Subject: [Shotimes] (OT) Who makes YELLOW coil springs?
I figure there would be no better group of people to ask a random car
question to than SHOtimes, so pardon the slight bit of OT. I'll tell the
story start to finish so I can catch up the majority of you that don't know
what I've been up to for the past year or so since the passing of my 3rd and
final SHO.
So a while back I bought a Crown Vic to replace the SHO. Lo and behold many
things started to become wrong with it, which should really be NO surprise
to anyone who buys a $500 used car..no..$500 used cab. Some damn
intermittent problem with the lights flickering on and off after being on
for a few minutes, the transmission beginning to slip worse and worse, then
the fuel pump cuts out. Broke the bolts off from the gas tank holding
straps and that put the nail in the coffin.
Borrowed money from family and picked up a 1996 Eclipse GS-T
Spyder......yeah, responsible purchase I know. Turns out the insurance
isn't too bad, it's less than insurance for a 1996 Eagle Talon Tsi..exact
same car, not a convertible (safer right?). So anyway, here we are. Car
has some aftermarket on it; two STBs, exhaust (nice sounding, no rasp at
all), springs, a couple appearance mods here and there (all interior). My
question involves the springs.
They're YELLOW. I've searched a little online and haven't seen any yellow
springs. I'd like to know what these are and if I need to get rid of them.
The ride is HORRIBLE. Ok not really that bad, it's rough, but it feels like
the struts are COMPLETELY dead. I mean COMPLETELY, it feels like there are
no shocks at all. The OEM boots are still on them and I didn't see any
logos by looking under the car so I'm considering that they're the stock
ones, and we're at about 89K on the OD.
So please, does anyone have any idea who makes yellow springs? Also, am I
off in that springs can't really make the car ride like it doesn't have any
struts? I mean the car bounces around like crazy if I get to speed and it
hits bumps.
