[Shotimes] Power Antenna Oddity

Neat trick!  I bet that got a good laugh the first time you turned the
radio on.

My best guess is that the sntenna is spooled on the reel backwards.  I
am not really sure if it's possible, but sounds somewhat, a tiny bit,
plausible.  Did you repalce just the cord/mast or the whole thing? 
Maybe at sometime they switched directions/polarities.

Sounds like you got is sorted out though.
