I got my first "check engine" light last Monday (at 152,xxx miles). It came on while cruising on the freeway, then went off about 15 seconds later. I didn't notice any ill effects. Then a few days later it went on again, and this time I noticed a bit of roughness in the way it ran. The light went through a few cycles of on and off, each time staying on for about 10-20 seconds. I ran the codes tonight, and came up with continuous codes 124 and 214. I replaced the original cid sensor for the 214 (figured it was about time for it to go bad). The 124 indicates "TP circuit output higher than expected". Any comments on what to do about this one? Am I having a problem with my TPS reports? ; )
