[Shotimes] Bad Alternator

I was lucky I had a fire extinguisher in the car after buying an Autolite
branded lifetime reman alt at Kragen.  After less than a year on it, it
caught on fire while driving Fri before last and even with the engine off
the only way to stop the fire was to disconnect the battery.  Every time I
blasted it with the extinguisher it would start smoking and light up again
(engine off of course).
