[Shotimes] Swapping Alternators

I think that a few of us considered doing this swap
awhile back and decided it was not worth it. Are you
only considering it because the increased amp rating
is attractive or is the alt on the 91 bad and the 94
is your only spare?

I talked to Vadim (back when the SHOshop actually
answered the phone) about the 93's 90a rating and he
said that he had never had any issues with it and saw
no need to swap up to a newer unit. I must say that I
agree with him. For all of the aftermarket stereo junk
and other stuff that I had/have, I do not have issues
with the 90a unit at all and I've had the car for a
few years now. On the flipside, the 1990 SHO motor
that I pulled from a jy car a few years back had a
reman Ford alt on it so I guess it did go out at some
point.
