Yep, that's why I keep $1000 deductible on both comprehensive and collision.
I would go higher but the lien holder on my cars won't allow anything higher
than $1k.

I wouldn't claim it.

In fact, if there is no police report, I won't claim anything up to maybe
$2K. I used to have a $1K limit, but I then paid $1,600 to cover the
"Indiana Tree Incident" damage on my '99 a few years ago.

You never know when the next, bigger claim is gonna come, and with a couple
of claims on your record, the increased insurance premiums will cost more
than the claim.

I don't want to call my insurance agent about this.Lets say for instance 
that one should happen to forget to toss their clubs in the trunk and 
get a phone call at the same time. Forget about said clubs run them over 
and damage the rear bumper cover. cracked in a spot and an exhaust tip 
bent down. Fixed the tip already. Would one think that one's full 
coverage insurance would cover this? I'm not saying I did this but it 
may have happened to a fellow SHO owner. Or should said person just bite 
the bullet and do his own repair? Ok I'm off golf club shopping.
