I vote for a bad wheel bearing internally. The internal roller bearings
won't be in the same position on every 1 turn of the rotor. Pull the axle so
you can put your fingers in there and feel it while it turns. It may have a
rough spot / galled roller. If so you could feel it with your bare hands.
Slinging grease isn't the only way a bearing can die. It could still be
tight or in spec and still have a rough spot. Is the noise / vibration
related to wheel speed? Any difference when turning right or left?
