Exatly, maybe I am a little earlier of a riser than some folks, but
when you think of it, when you get up you are likely going to switch
on the bedroom light, and the bathroom light. Now, the bathroom is
going to be on reguardless of the daylight. Maybe you might be able
to go w/o the bedroom in the winter if you were a late riser. there
is no way for me to pull that off. I am up at 5:45am, and from
October to March that means it's dark when I get up. If using DST, i
get up an hour later, that may make it more like Nov-Feb. Still even
in the wee hours of the morning (sunrise) though I would turn on my
lights to pick out my cloths from the pile on the floor. Thus it's
basically the same.
Basically, I don't see it as a power savings in the morning, and there
can be no disagreement that it uses more power in the evening. I
think this argument has been debunked. Myth Busted.
SHO content: I notice that I am much more encouraged to drive the red
(quiet) car to work vs the green (loud) one in the morning... but on
my way home, I generally think opposite. Must be that loud noises in
the morning scare me :)
