You sure the dimmer switch is not in the "off" position"?  :)

The dimmer switch is probably faulty.  It's pretty common for those to fail,
eventually.

hey everybody,
 
my dash lights aren't working.  I'll turn on the headlights, but the dash
won't light up, nor will my clock.  I recently added an aftermarket stereo
system, could it be that I've blown a fuse?
