The new 2005 Mustang only uses the basic floor pan and nothing else from
this platform. I am thinking of a 2003 or newer LS for myself. So under
powered for their class! And it follows the SHO production history, sort of.
This last year 2006 for the LS it has been reduced to 1 model only from 4 in
2005. But at least they add VVT on the 2003 and up models. I can only
imagine what the SHO could have put out with this added feature!!!
And of course the biggest LS mistake of all: No stick with the V-8!!!! And
they had almost all the parts already in production for the V-6 stick
models???
Another GREAT car screwed into the ground by Ford!
