Of course you can mix dino and synth....the oil companies sell it that way!!
Add whatever you want to the tranny or engine, and don't fall prey to OMTs
(Old Mechanics Tales.......the same as Old Wives Tales).

I know you can't mix synthetic and regular engine oil, but can you mix
regular and synthetic ATF fluid? I'm guessing it's probably not a good
idea, but right now, the only thing keeping me from driving my car after
replacing a CV joint is not having enough Redline D4 to fill the tranny. I
put in one whole quart but the tranny is still low on fluid.
