Many years ago, I think it was 1985 or so, Car&Driver
had a little blurb on Peter Shultz's personal car.
What would be so interesting to hear that the
President of Porsche US was driving
a European Luxury car? Well to the readers
astonishment, he was
driving a Chevy Nova. I believe it was a 78-79 4 door
to make matters worse. But wait, this was no ordinary
grocery getter.
He liked the looks and size of the 4 door, (so did
Cadillac)
saying it was an American BMW. He had a 400 horse 350
in her with all the suspension bulit up by Bilstein
with 16 or 17 inch rims
on her. The interior had all leather buckets and every
option
of the time. My question is... I hope this little
beauty was'nt crushed, but in some collectors garage.
Does anyone know where it is?
