Thanks for all the help so far.

I do have the amp bypass cable, but after hearing the amp I don't think I
want to use it.  The factory amp is working well, is already mounted and
it's free so I see no reason to replace it right now.

Since nobody seems to know the sizes of the speakers above the woofers I
will take advantage of the gorgeous weather we are having in Kansas and go
look for myself.  I am also going to see if I can replace the 6x8 woofers
with more traditional 8" round woofers.  I will also see what is in the door
and dash, four 2 way speakers or seperate woofers and mids/tweeters if I
have time.
