Sounds like fun George. Most people would think the month alone to be
a great thing, but I'm here to tell you that it can be tough. Even
though I'm going home on weekends, being away from my family during
the week is rough. On the other hand, enjoy it while you can!

At midnight on the 9th, it is Chinese (Lunar) New Year, where the date is January 1, 94. In our year 1911, Dr. Sun Yat Sen, the father of modern Nationalist Chinese philosophy, decided that China would go a different way than it had gone up to that time. Not everyone agreed, and in 1949, Chaing Kai Sheck, after years of battle, decided that the mainland was not the place for the Nationalist government, and he brought many mainland folks (including my parents in law) with him to Taiwan, where they have been since then. That year, 1911, is the year 'one' on the Taiwanese calendar.

(Digital camera has about 500...I might make a web page.) In two days, I'll be home, and be by myself for a month. The model garage will awaken!! A black SHO Plus will be created. A white one will get its last major cleaning and minor maintenance event, and I will not be yelled at every 5 minutes on a day off being commanded (!) to do 'Honey Dos!'
