I think there is some karma involved, also. With the '89, I drove it across
country for a few personal trips, as well as four SHO Conventions, and I
NEVER carried any tools with me at all. I never worried about it, and t
never left me down.

I have to agree! !71K miles and used everyday for a 90 mile commute. 2nd SHO
is at 135K miles and I would not hesitate to drive either one cross country!
But I think once you get past the spots where things seem to break down, any
car gets very reliable. We now know all the weak spots in the SHO!
