My '89 was driven every day, and I believe that helps a lot. When it sat for
four months before being sold, it started leaking a bit of coolant, started
leaking oil on the ground (turned out to be a leaky pan gasket), and the
stereo started to intermittently crap out.

I can also say that I am quite impressed by my car and how well it has
been.  I am currently commuting about 30 miles each way to work, and
my car has been a dream for that.  I think the more I drive the car,
the beter it does.  in the summer when I am riding the motorcycle to
work a lot I notice that the car does not run really well.
