I've actually always thought it was pretty darn good.  The 89 at the track
run both the same water/oil temp, they both equal out after everything is up
to temp after a few hot laps.  195 degree for both normally, around 205 if
it's REALLY hot ambient.  Also I've found the 89 runs cooler at high speed
with no rad fan, so I just keep it off.

Tranny temp is a different story :)
