[Shotimes] sway bar inserts?

I have a 89 Sho thats completely stock. After inspecting the sway bar  end 
links, I noted that the end going into the sway bar was loose. It causes a  
banging noise on rough roads.The end links were replaced less than 2 years ago  
and I really don't remember if it had a bushing or insert at that time. My local 
 ford dealer showed nothing on their drawings . Is there supposed to be a 
bushing  or insert in the sway bar and is there one thats available  ?
