[Shotimes] sway bar inserts?

You didn't mention specifically whether you are talking about the front or
rear bar. From how you describe the condition I assume the rear bar. So,
yes there should be a bushing on each side of the bar and also on each side
of the upper mount on the struts. Here are the Moog part numbers for both
front & rear.
front swaybar link: Moog #K8702 includes grease fitting & 17mm hex (order
2)
rear swaybar link: Moog #K8805 TPR (order 2)

I have a 89 Sho thats completely stock. After inspecting the sway bar end
links, I noted that the end going into the sway bar was loose. It causes a
banging noise on rough roads.The end links were replaced less than 2 years
ago
and I really don't remember if it had a bushing or insert at that time. My
local
ford dealer showed nothing on their drawings . Is there supposed to be a
bushing or insert in the sway bar and is there one thats available ?
