[Shotimes] Shipping tires/wheels

As far as packing them, I would place cardboard on the
top and bottom of each rim (assuming it's now laying
flat on the ground on its side) and tape/and or string
them up so that the cardboard protects the rim. This
is how Tirerack shipped my 17's and that's how I
shipped a set of BMW rims I sold on ebay awhile back.

$40 each sounds about right. You may have better luck
with Greyhound but be prepared to deal with people who
have no clue what's going on. Based on a past
experience with Greyhound I will never deal with them
again but in the end I did get what I was shipped
although the company never knew where the item was or
when it would arrive. Really bad customer service as
well but YRMV.
