Stop picking on 92s!!!

Seriously, I've offered you a link to the brochure of the 92 Taurus so you
can see what Ford sold at that time.  Yes the car did evolve slightly over
its 4 year run, but the red paint was the same.  It stands as my favorite
Ford color period (yes, I am a Ferrari fan).
Unfortunately the color will fade once the clearcoat wears off, and
especially if you leave it out in the sun for extended periods of time.  I
can state this from experience.
