[Shotimes] Eibach springs with stock struts?

I think you may be happy with Tokicos and eibachs or
tokicos and cargo coils. I am not sure what the
ratings are on the cargo coils though. I assume they
are softer.

The tokicos are rock hard for the first month or so.
They gradually soften up. My 94 was pretty streetable
with tokicos and eibachs.

My 93 is running koni's and eibachs. Combined with all
of the other hard suspension work I've done, it's as
comfortable as a rock on bad roads. However, I do have
the option of turning the koni's to full soft which
would be pretty comfortable. This may be an attractive
option for you. I just haven't done it because I like
the way the car responds as it sits now. I don't mind
the harsh ride...and after all it's pretty nice on
smooth highways which is where I do a lot of my
driving..

I test drove a 97. It was a long long time ago but I
remember the suspension being softer than my 94 at the
time...

Hook up with some SHO people at a meet and go for
rides. The eibachs are pretty decent street springs
but they need a stiff strut to dampen them.
