Thanks for all the advice. I'm gonna stay away from Eibachs simply because
the last thing I want is to slam my ride. Just can't drop it "down in the
weeds" with the moon-cratered state of the roads around here.

It sounds like the insufficient rebound damping issue is enough to steer me
away from using stock struts with cargo coils. I don't want to make my car
into a pogo stick -- or rather I should say a bouncier pogo stick -- since the
current struts and springs are both clapped out and the front end already
bobs more than Linda Lovelace in her heyday.

The current Sachs catalog shows the following P#s for the 89-95 SHO and they
seem to be unique to the SHO:

030-045 Front
030-046 Rear

Are these correct and does anyone know a good source?

Cheers,

LOL

nice post. As an aside, a lot of us here in NJ have
Koni's and AFAIK we are still on the orginal inserts.
I'm guessing that the area you drive in (well,
actually I know) has a large amount of potholes. There
were some where I was driving when I was in Central NJ
but I know that your area is worse. S. Jersey isn't
too bad. N. Jersey can be awful. Central..it's a toss
up..
