and mascot change that I know of for 2004:

Peoria Chiefs, as in FIRE chiefs.

I still want to sue all the schools (including my old high 
school) for making fun of MY heritage by using the name 
"KNIGHT" and all those humiliating knight in shining armor 
mascots.  QUIT MAKING FUN OF MY ENGLISH HERITAGE!
