I wanted to take your note in chunks. In this part, I wanted to
understand the section I quoted. Basically this says that any talk of
custom tuning (having someone in person and being on a dyno) a BOS SHO
would yield little to no additional benefit over what the stock
programming provides simply because it is well designed to begin with.

The EEC is pretty adaptable, still running basically the same even with
really wild cams in my 3.2L (still runs rich at WOT, etc)
