Rods are a different size, you probably need oversize bearings

On my Supercharged Car the tuning took a dump on me and I backfired through
the motor which hair-line cracked two pistons (5 & 6.)
I replaced the pistons with two from a parts motor. Present rodbearings
looked good and installed/torqued them to spec. Buttoned her all up.
Fired her up and got a rod bearing knock (insert cuss words.)
I eased her 10 miles over to Texan Tony's house. Pulled the two rod
bearings out and they were almost melted/very coppered. Luckily the crank
was not scored. Pulled no. 2 bearing out and it was fine.
Tony put in brand new rod bearings on the pistons/assembly lubed etc.
Buttoned her up to spec and same rod bearing knock again.
?????????????????????????????
Thanks mucho,
Murph
