Regardless, they are probably out of round now as
well.

Mike-when you replaced the rods, were the letter
stampings the same as the old ones? (A B or C?) I
believe this deals with the size of the rod journal
(what range of spec it's in) but an A rod may differ
in weight enough from a C rod enough that it throws
off the crank balance. I don't have much experience
building engines except for the one I am learning on
so I am not an expert. I just have enough ideas to
make me dangerous with a wrench. I personally would be
wary of swapping rods between motors (esp on a blower
motor) without rebalancing the entire rotating
assembly but that's me...
