[Shotimes] OT: allstate vs liberty mutual vs 21st century

I have had a few claims through Statefarm and I have always been satisfied with the resolution. They have always been willing to work with me to come to a fair monetary value when they totaled the car, taking recent work done to the car into consideration. I don't think this will help Ian though as I don't think they are writing new policies in NJ for auto, unless you have homeowners insurance through them as well.

My experience is that Allstate is one of the WORST insurance companies around.
It's not just my thinking, they consistently score near the bottom of the list
for poor customer satisfaction. State Farm is close to the top companies for
customer satisfaction.

Whatever you do, stay away from Farmers. I'm
(well...my insurance company is) in the fight of my
life trying to get my car fixed. I got backed into
yesterday. Can send people some pics if they want to
see the carnage. Worst part is, I was just sitting in
the car parked when it happened. Poor car... :-(
