I have a fun presentation ready for the convention that depends on being 
able to play MP3 and WAV files in a way that the whole banquet room can 
hear.  Okay you AV experts, who will help me?  Assuming the room is equipped 
with a miked podium, and further assuming a 1/4" plug input, who will help 
me make this happen?

The gag is sound clips.  Your car is trying to tell you something, and it 
does so with memorable lines from movies and TV.
