John,

If you have the type of belt buckle that the CG lock says WILL NOT work,
then all you need to do is mount it upside down and it will work just
fine. The Gen III buckle also is not supposed to work. But I use a CG
lock on my '964 SHO.

The twisted belt trick works, but for big guys like us, it is hard to
clip the buckle when it is short. With the CG lock you can leave the
belt loose and click it, then run the seat all the way back. tighten
the shoulder strap as much as you can stand, and then run the seat
forward a couple inches to make it REALLY tight! Just don't overdo it!

This little trick came to me unofficially from the inventor of CG-Lock.
His attorneys won't let him state that it works that way because of some
silly reason. But it works just fine and I don't see any danger point.
I found out it worked that way and called to see if it was OK, he said
NO, and then yes but off the record. You didn't hear it from me though! :)

If you can't figure it out for any reason (I am pretty sure you will
though) I can show you the one on my car when we get there Sunday, it is
on the '96 SHO.
