The SHO needs 7.5 - 8" rims...period!  6" is way to skinny for a 3400 # "peformance car".  At least on the track.

I'm going to try the V700 225/45/17 on my TD 17x8" rims first.  They are only $3 more than the 225/50/16 I run currently, and should work nicely and not run into strut/fender rub problems.

I wish the V700 came in a usable 235 size, but it doesn't.  245/45/17 is an option, but it's more $$ and I want to try the 225/45's first (same "gearing as the 225/50's).

And I can stuff 13x1.1" rotors in these TD wheels now :)
