[Shotimes] OT: CTS-V as a replacement for the SHO

Despite Bob Lutz pissing off the entire "old fart" GTO contingent, and
despite the bland looks, the GTO is a great bargain. Basically a sedan
Corvette (NO it isn't the equal, but IRS, Vette engine, Vette tranny
etc, etc).

Many in the GTO club are buying them, and love them. And yes, they do
go faster than mid 14's, one poorly driven example does not make the
rule. Just as with SHO's.

they are built super solid, and that translates to a good feel on the
highway. I didn't buy one because of looks and size inside. But for
the average american enthusiast, it will fit right, and looks are a
personal thing.

I just wish they had held off another year and given the body some
sizzle. New Mustang, 300C, Magnum, Miata, WRX, Charger all have sizzle
and are selling well.
