[Shotimes] Taurus's NASCAR Replacement

How about scrap MASCAR and make it true stock car racing again.
You know, cars with present technology under the hood.

I asked a NASCAR crew member why the cars out on the track all had the same
chassis under them.  Barely any difference in the cars at all.  Then I asked
if it wouldn't make more sense for the cars more closely resemble what was
available from the showroom.
He replied "We are racing cars, not computers" and threatened to become
violent.

I say we need a real Showroom Stock racing series again

What about a NASCAR rule that any model cannot use an engine with larger
displacement than it is available with from the factory?  That would be
interesting.
