Guys

I am in the process of replacing the Ford radio in my '93. I have hooked it
all back up and it plays, electric antenna works fine, it turns off, etc.

The question I have is that my car also came with a ford 10 disc CD player
located in the trunk; and it played when the radio was set to a certain
channel. The question I have is the electrical connection for the CD player,
since it does not work NOW since I have put the new radio in. In the wiring to
the old radio, somebody had nicely spliced in 3 wires into the radio power
supply, which I am assuming was the power source for the CD player.

The power connection to the old ford radio had 8 wires (green, black, yellow
w/black stripe, red w/black stripe, orange w/black stripe, red, orange, pink).
AND the 8 wires for the speaker connections had their own set of connections,
separate from what I call the power connection. The three splices for what I
believed supplied power to the old CD player was spliced into the Green,
yellow & red wires.

Since I do not have the wiring diagram for this beast, could somebody PLEASE
tell me what the old green, yellow, and red wire connections actually are for,
so I can hook the old CD player back into the the new wiring.

THANKS
Bob
PS: And I forgot, what channel do I have to tune the radio to to get the trunk
mounted CD player to work thru the radio?? was it 89.3???
