A repeating jerk usually indicates bad strut bearings. Mine jerked until
I replaced them... voila, no more jerk. My car has (is? :P) no more
jerk. Now it clicks. I suspect wheel bearings.

 I get that too. I think it's has to do with the VAPS and possibly wear

the rack? I have thought maybe the road surface plays a factor in this
too?
