[Shotimes] shipping a used gas tank, 14 gal tank on SHO?

I always thought my '95 had the small (16) ga. tank.  The light comes on and
gauge is well into the bottom and when I fill it takes around 15.5.  But I
wanted to check recently, and drove till I couldn't stand it any more.  It
took 17.5 gals, so I think Ford may have changed the sensor system to read
low earlier.

All SHOs(Gen I & II) were to come with the extended range tank(18.5 gal).
Apparently, every now and then, a small tank got out on.  I remember several
day long, dead horse beating threads on this.
