Sure.
The pulley housing is 15mm wide there, but so what. 1 pulley is wider than
the other anyway.You just need to be able to tighten everything down so the
adjustment doesn't slip.
I'll bet you can find a washer between 20 & 37 mm easy enough. I'd just
press the bearing into the pulley towards the back of the housing. The
current one fits flush, or almost, so a flat plate works on the press. For
this you might need an appropriate sized installation tool.  Like 36mm.
Recall the recent wheel bearing problem here on the list.
