   Just out of curiosity, does this car have chrome strips on the interior door panels?  I know early 89's do, but does anyone know when they were dropped?  I suspect January, about when the heater cores went to aluminum.
   Both of my 89's have had the strips.  At the Atlanta convention, a couple of people remarked on them, which started me wondering when they went away.
   Too bad they didn't decide to drop the chromed antenna base.
   My current car is actually older than my old titanium.  Built in November of '88, her VIN is 1FABP5447KA150210, so she's a few thousand older in the assembly line than the 'old' one.  She's been old enough to drive herself for over a half of a year now.  Maybe with some heavy duty servos...
