[Shotimes] rear spoiler

Okay, so it's a little fast.

One problem with a street car like a SHO is the amount of air that gets
trapped under the car. A combination of side skirts and chin spoiler (I
think I remember that your car had this in Madison), and a ventilated tail
helps to lower the air pressure under the car. You could even create a set
of flat sheets to make the bottom of the car more aerodynamic. Using air to
your advantage involves getting air to flow over the top of the car rather
than under or around, and getting whatever does go under the car to travel
at a high velocity to the rear of the car and out under the bumper. In
fact, air trapped under the rear bumper creates lift.

Turn 1 at Brainerd is banked and at the end of a 1-mile straight. Yes, it's

fast. SHOs don't usually brake for this turn. I've entered it at 120,
other SHOwners higher.

Is that a fast corner? I doubt that a spoiler would help an SHO at speeds
under 75 or 80.

There is only one place I've wanted some rear downforce, at the entry to
turn 1 at Brainerd. At the end of that mile-long straight, the rear end
feels awfully light to me.
