I'd be more than happy to take a CTS-V off someone's hands. :)

Would have been nicer if they spent some of that LED development money on
the interior......

Much like their (misguided, IMHO) spending of billions on hydrogen cars,
along with the promise to have them on the road by 2010 (which the other
knowledgeable folks say is off by 10-20 years), while most of their current
products offerings are not doing well. Typical GM misguided priorities.
Behind in my reading, but I just read the cover story in Forbes (April 25th
or somewhere near that date) about GM's hydrogen effort. Good read.

As far as "foisting", BMW sales are on an ever-increasing curve. Obviously
they are pleasing a lot of people. Sure Cadillac is doing better, but they
still aren't getting conquest sales from imports. As the rap stars and
sports guys move on to other vehicles (which they already are.....Escalades
are yesterday's news), lets' see how well they continue to do.

Just a note that I think the first car sold in America with all LED
lamps was the Cadillac Deville. Had them for many years. I mention
this because a lot of people get down on American cars, and GM in
general, but Cadillac has been quietly dominating the big luxury car
market it runs in and building quite dependable and nice, with most of
the newest technology and yet no things like the "knob" that BMW foists
on people. I do not want to get any sort of war going over what cars
are good or not, but Cadillac has been building quite nice vehicles that
sell well, don't look as wierd as some (Bangle butt anyone?) and like
the '96 SHO the style is growing on the public in general. Plus they
have those neat LED lights!
