Simple,

Find a techno geek that owns a cascade box.  It is simply a box with several
different value variable resistors in it.  Just play around with it until
you find the value that works.  Measure the resistance of the cascade box
and purchase a POWER RESISTOR from some place like Newark Electronics to
match that value.  Mount the power resistor in an out of the way protected
place so that the heat that it dissipates doesn't harm anything.
