[Shotimes] louder inside or outside car?

This couldn't be reconfirmed by everyone that owns a SHO enough.  The first
thing you should do with ANY 1st or 2nd gen is to remove that stupid
silencer cone.  The sound the engine makes during high revs is so exotic, I
would place it on par with the sound of a lambo engine, just not as
melodious and deep (but certainly not far).

YES it makes it sound better outside the car.  The first time I let anyone
drive my first SHO without me in it I about fell over when I heard the
shifter being rowed in my car.  I've never NOT impressed someone with the
sound of the SHO whilst driving it and I attribute that to removing the
silencer cone.

Of course if you have a big exhaust leak or a fart pipe it wouldn't make
much difference in sound because you won't be able to hear the intake over
the exhaust.
