We have stamped plates here in virginia still, but we have at least like 90
different plates to choose from... I chose the "Langley NASA Research
Center" plate... has a big SR-71 on it... my licence plate says "SHO-71" on
it... it's kinda cool. I like VA's licence plate system. You can customize
it over the web, no less!

I don't know what y'all are complaining about. At
least you guys still have stamped plates. In MT, we
went to what basically looks like one big decal put
over the entire plate. (this is one of the thousands
of different plates you can get in MT now...instead of
the one "standard state plate")

To me, I think the flat plate looks cheap compared to
the stamped plates...
