well haven't had the 89 to the drags in almost 2 years. wanted to try the
new cams/intake, more for just a mph check than anything. way too cold down
here last night for any good grip, got there late, and didn't even have time
to put the drag radials on the front (still have the V700 road race tires on
there, which are terrible for hooking up, especially when it's 38 degrees!)

anyway, only got 1 "test" run in doing a 14.2@102 mph. Not bad mph, but a
bit less than I expected (isn't that always the case :). Cams are for sure
making more power up top, although I was expecting to be around 104-105 in
the traps. One thing is commerce is about 1150 feet elevation, so a bit
higher than all my past "baseline" slips (most around 400-600 ft). And I
didn't get to really beat on the car hard (was just a regular lift/shift
pass, instead of keeping it WOT). Still got a little tweaking to do, maybe
I'll try silver dollar raceway down near macon, lower elevation and should
get way more runs in. If I can get it to 104, then it's making an honest
300 hp.

I have to wonder at this point about the stock sized 2 1/4" outlet on the
Ypipe being a restriction...almost need like the 2.25" manifold pipes to
merge and have a 2 3/4 or 3" collector, and run it straight 3" all the way
back?
