Jeremy: "I noticed on my ATX, it would "whistle" sometimes at idle. Seems
when the
idle air valve would open "just enough" it would make a bit of noise.
Enough that you could feel the vibration on the intake manifold. YMMV."

In our suburban county just outside of DC, we have 2,000 vehicle vs deer
collisions a year. I would like to figure out a way to tune the intake whistle
on my 94 atx up to about 30KHz so it will scare away the deer. But I hope I
don't have to decrease the venturi diameter too much or it'll cost me too
much power.

I'd put one of those ebay "Turbocharger Exhaust Whistles" instead, but I
never had a deer dash up from behind and smack me in the ass end yet, so I think
it'll work better if the whistle comes from the front.
